Setting Goals for Myself
I want to:
change the world.
Or at least
change my school.

Or at least

change myself.

To A Boy
To a boy:

I know I'll never have you,
but forgive me if I pretend.

Moonlight Kisses
I swung at the park,
(a personal sex)
bats as voyeurs,
hair snaking like a banshee,
wind caressing up my shirt,
the reckless abandon.
Meeting my lover
where you leave your senses,
cavorting the moon.
Cool chains wrap my hands
metal on metal on skin,
my breath captured
in the misty clouds
around the lamp posts.
Watch me,
feel me,
see me now
falling under touch
of the shrouded crescent,
my Adonis.

Let's Run Away
This real world is not for me,
you said.
Let's live in fantasies.
(I think I made you up inside my head.)

Thirty Bucks on the Street

Streetside abortion
left me ripped up
but free.
The pain cost only
thirty dollars and my

nightmares.

The Bloody Rain
The rain fell like bullets last night;
I tried to count the wounds.
Millions, billions, trillions.
I got up to 67 to the power of 33
(learned from a documentary
on savants),
then lost count,
blood pouring down my hair.

You Leave Me Frozen
I feel like nothing.

Short. and sweet.

Honestly,
I was hoping for more
from you, more than this.

The question asked
was searching
for a confession,
not this.
More than this.

Father, I have sinned.
Confess.
Spill your mind to me.

I was looking for love,
more than this,
or at least an answer.

You make me feel

like nothing.

Tongue
I am acutely aware of my tongue.
Think about it.
Your tongue, I mean.
Now whisper something.
In fact, whisper "whisper something."
Did you feel your tongue
move?
Roof of mouth,
edge of teeth.

Figments
I caught you looking at me.

"What are you doing?"
"I'm memorizing you."

Goodbye.

Space Heater
I never needed this
to keep me warm

until you left.
