Window of Dispare...
the window of hope
a portal of tomorrow
i see but cannot touch
watching it slip away
out of reach
no control
painful visions
from the past
each moment to the future
the here and now passing by
the view brings wants of reaction
the sight tears at my heart
to touch
i reach out
but the window
blocks my grasp
i speak
but nobody hears
to see it passing by
to watch it waste away

Living for Today
living for today
like there is no tomorrow
learning a new way
no time left to borrow
reaching out to touch
to reach for something new
no time for the pain
nothing left to do
days are shorter now
nights no longer fear
remember the smiles
no time for any tears
living for today
amazing as it seems
the answer to my prayers
the life within my dreams

The next Best Thing....

cant be where i want to
cant feel the way i feel
cant share the many moments
cant tell you what is real
cant have the life intended
cant feel your lips so right
cant spend all my tomorrows
in your arms tonight
cant share in your laughter
cant hide my pain its true
cant feel the kind of happiness
i once shared with you
so today ill cry no more
today ill do....
the next best thing

Birthday Wishes For Eddie

A mark on the earth ,you left. chasing the white tail deer.A smile of mischievous ways.A laugh to spread joy.at 23 yrs old your wisdom so touched my heart. a pure and determined strength. fear oh yes you faced it head on! by a tree i wish i could have placed you. remember the happiness on your face. Boston so far from home. yet because of need you often roamed. high speed antics, rainex on the windshield.the club you carried in your truck. crossing statelines with the handgun to protect me. welcome to mass. possesion a felony! paper airplanes out the window of the highrise hotel.laughed till we cried.Samuel Adam for dinner waiting for the happy hour buffet. driving in the truckers rebellion lmao, in your little black toyota! blowing the horn from the govenors mansion all through the city! felt like a pebble among the big rocks, yet you stayed big and strong! I remember what you said and will always carry it in my heart! I remember your last breath, watching the life leave your body. the peace so well deserved came across your precious face.off to hunt ,fish ,and explore! to chase the elusive white tailed deer! i love you bro!!! Happy Brthday! forever in my heart!

Blowing By
the winds of change, raising awareness
the rustle of a mysterious presence
a force of unwillingness, strong emotions
uncontroled, resistant, out of reach
changing strength, unfamilliar
bending, twisting, moaning
followed by a soft breeze
a whistle, a hum, a startling crash
sending chills over my body
aromas from a distant fire
a need for warmth
the trees bend ,almost to much
they bow to the mother earth
the waters ripple
the beauty of the secret passage
chimes sing, a exciting tune
leaves fly about ,torn from there source
where they land, to wither and die
a unkept branch ,rubs against my window
a sound of ominous ,dread
it brings a fear of tomorrow
as i lay here, in my bed
remembering ,the yesterdays
questioning today
deep thoughts of the future
the wind ,soon blows away
