replaced
all my hopes, and dreams, are dead
the fears, and nightmares, fill my head
my heart ,and soul ,are filled with dread
a shimmering star, that once shone so bright
clouded now, by twilight
a moonbeam, once glimmered upon the water
no longer does it dance
it's left my life, and now i'm lost
enveloped in a trance
the crystal twinkle, of an eye
i no longer see
only empty promises
seem to follow me
a heart felt smile, a warm embrace
no longer do i feel
emptiness ,surrounds my life
nothing, is for real
as the tall oak, drops its leaves
and autumn winds predict
a cold ,and bitter wind
causes so much pain
it's anguish it inflicts
