I really am confused about what I want to be. Do I want to have money or fun: Confused and also goal oriented

Unknown Ambition
Torn between life's luck and charm,
Trust back into His loving arm,
Torn and tattered used and abused,
I stand clearly beaten, confused.

What I shall stand for I cannot say now
for what the world teaches is cruel and foul,
And when I think I am right and ready,
I am shaken hard and left unsteady.

But something waits in my heart,
at times, it makes me start!
What I desire is a healthy soul,
And maybe one day to see Him on His throne.

Ah! But I also dream of earhtly things,
a happy life through fulfilling dreams,
but between my and the Great One,
My true ambition is not known.
