a litlle story about a lonley girl

February 11 2010 05:07

empty bottles
she was born among strangers
people that dint belong
she tried to remember faces
that changed all along

she learnt how to walk
not knowing how and when
she remembered her nanny
who remained till she was ten

she never saw her mama
except when she drove away
dada was always busy
all night and day

she did not know Christmas
Santa never came
she was always left lonely
and dint know who to blame

she went to school alone
with no one to say goodbye
no one to ask how the day was
desperate she would cry

she waited to show dada
her report card
she always tried to please him
she always worked so hard

she tried to dress like mama
some days when she saw her dress
she just wanted mama to hold her
and longed for her caress

she realised with time that
they had other things to do
they were never there
and time just merely flew

she was left with no feelings
she was left feeling numb
she dint know right or wrong
she drowned herself in rum

at 16 she was an alcoholic
she dint care anymore
she knew she wont find the love
or someone to adore

she went to school drunk
it made her ease the pain
she dint have any issues
nuthing to complain

she thought she found love
when she met him that night
but it was just a fling to him
she had nuthing left to fight

she bought her last bottle
and drank till she could
she swallowed some headache pills
and it finally felt good

she lay in hope that night
someone would come and find
but her hopes died inside
in her empty mind
